At SR Mailing, we are committed to ensuring transparency and accountability across our business operations. Our annual Impact Reports, published on our website and reviewed by B Lab for added assurance, aim to provide stakeholders with insights into our progress against our publicly set targets.
This report - the first of many - will outline our strategies for driving continued positive impact and improvement, while also assessing our performance against the previous year’s commitments.
The goal is to provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of our efforts as a socially and environmentally responsible business, and to inspire others in the industry to embrace similar commitments.

Our Misson & Values
SR Mailing makes sustainability simple and accessible for our clients, ensuring that every package is a step towards a greener and healthier planet. We offer a diverse range of recycled packaging products that are both functional and environmentally conscious, helping businesses reduce waste and minimise their carbon footprint.
Alongside our core operations, we are committed to delivering meaningful impact by integrating support for charitable initiatives and volunteering efforts that address social challenges and environmental concerns (including homelessness and UK water pollution), into our operational structure and business model. Through this work, we strive to create a more sustainable and socially responsible future.

Our B Corp journey so far
We’re officially a B Corp as of September 2025, scoring an impressive 95.4! (For context, companies need at least 80 points to get certified—so yeah, we’re pretty chuffed.) We’re becoming one of only a handful of e-commerce packaging companies in the UK to achieve B Corp certification!
This is an important milestone in our journey so far and this doesn’t happen without the collective effort of the whole team! We’re so proud of our team for making this happen — and even prouder to keep driving positive change together.
This isn’t just a badge for our environmental efforts—it’s recognition of everything we do: looking after our team, supporting our community, and making sure our customers are happy.
At SR Mailing, we don’t just deliver eco-friendly packaging; we’re on a mission to help e-commerce businesses go greener.
A massive thank you to all our customers and partners, you’re the reason we can keep doing what we love!

Impact Areas
The B Corp certification assessment, known as the B Impact Assessment (BIA), evaluates performance across five key areas of impact: Community, Workers, Customers, Environment and Governance. We’ve structured our report around these categories to facilitate clear year-on-year comparisons and align our efforts with other B Corp businesses. In addition, we have mapped our actions and commitments against the UN Sustainable Development Goals for comparison against organisations not following the B Corp process. Embracing these isn’t just about saving the planet - it’s about securing our future and fostering a global community.

Future Plans
We are thrilled by the progress we’ve made so far and are confident that the benefits we’ve shared are just a small preview of what’s to come; there is always more we can do to elevate our social and environmental initiatives.
Together, we can make this journey a success, creating a business that benefits everyone it touches.
Our dedication to continuous improvement drives us to set even higher goals for the year ahead. Below, we outline our key ambitions for the next 12 months:
Social Targets
We have focused our commitments for the next 12 months on achieving quantified social targets outlining our community, customer and employee-related goals. These include:
1. Social Impact Expansion
Charitable Giving:
- Increase our positive impact on causes we care about, by increasing our annual contribution to impactful organisations such as Salford Foodbank and WWF to over £5000.
- Raise over £2500 for charities such as WWF and The Christie NHS Foundation Trust through our fundraising efforts.
Volunteer Days:
- Contribute 50+ hours of volunteering to our local community
2. Employee Satisfaction
- Maintain an exceptional performance in employee satisfaction.
3. Employee Attrition
- Continue outperforming industry benchmarks on attrition.
4. Customer Satisfaction
- Achieve our customer satisfaction targets of 100% satisfaction
Environmental Targets
To measure the impact of the policies and processes we have put in place this year to reduce our environmental impact, we have also set environmental targets for the next 12 months:
Environmental Certifications:
- Increase the proportion of purchased materials covered by FSC certification to >75%.
- Obtain ISO 14001 & 9001 certifications.
Responsible Waste Disposal:
- Reduce our waste-to-landfill by 5% (from a 2024 baseline).
- Ensure 100% of our hazardous waste (e.g. batteries and electronic items) are disposed of responsibly, safely and in compliance with environmental standards, in order to minimise any associated negative environmental impacts.
Energy Conservation:
- Reduce our energy consumption per square foot by 5% from our 2024 baseline.
- Maintain at least 65% of energy being procured from renewable energy sources.
Emissions Minimisation:
- Reduce our 2025 total emissions by 5% from our 2024 baseline.
- Reduce our supply chain (Scope 3) emissions by 5% from our 2024 baseline.
- Continue to power our China factory with 100% renewable energy, as a means of reducing the carbon footprint of our products.
- Increase the emissions we offset to 50% of our Scope 3 emissions.
Sustainability Training:
- Ensure 100% staff complete our annual sustainability training course.
Sustainable Procurement:
- Share our Supplier Policy and Code of Conduct with 100% suppliers.
Impact Reports
We will be creating another Impact Report 12 months from now, that will detail our progress against the previously set out targets. We also hope to include further improvements in our processes and policies.
By focusing on these priority areas, we aim to continue leading by example and deliver meaningful outcomes for all our stakeholders over the next year.
