Cardboard is also a great solution for customers looking to reduce their waste as cardboard is compostable. Honeycomb envelopes
Although not all plastic can be eliminated, SR Mailing are constantly looking to develop solutions. One of the newest solutions is the Honeycomb envelopes.
The honeycomb envelopes are made up from kraft paper, the inside is padded with a layer of honeycomb wrap to add extra protection to delicate items. It is a great alternative to bubble envelopes which are a more difficult packaging product to recycle.
Expandable envelopes
The expandable envelopes are a great alternative to plastic mailing bags. When flat they are ideal for large documents, books etc. However, when expanded the C4 is large enough to send books and even t-shirts. The box is again completely recyclable or compostable.
